Amazon on Thursday announced that customers between age group 18-24 at India would get 50 percent (Rs. 500) cashback on joining annual Prime membership of Rs. 999.
The statement comes at a time once the e-retail giant is gearing up for the Prime Day sale event. The business said the young adults that subscribe to the Prime membership together with the new pricing will also be eligible for the Prime Day sale.
Customers can avail this offer by registering for Prime and verifying their age on Amazon.in, the company said in a statement. The offers, though, can only be availed via the organization’s official Android or iOS software.

The young Indians can sign up for the Prime yearly membership in the’youth offer’ banner by paying Rs. 999 online.
“Once verified, Rs. 500 is credited over 10 days to the client’s Amazon Pay equilibrium account that could be used for bill payments, recharges or in online partner retailers,” stated the company.
To recall, Prime membership entails unlimited free speedy delivery on qualified products, access to Prime Video, Prime Music, and Prime Reading, early access to offers and deals, and much more.
Launched in India back in July 2016, the Prime subscription was available in a discounted price of Rs. 499 for over a year, after which Amazon started offering it at the current cost of Rs. 999. Apart from the yearly pricing, Prime subscription may also be grabbed in a monthly price of Rs. 129, but the company isn’t offering any cashback on the monthly subscription to the young adults.
