Oppo R15, R15 Dream Mirror Edition Start Receiving ColorOS 5.2.1 Update With Hyper Boost and More

Oppo and its once sub-brand Realme Appear to be about a software update spree off late.
Just yesterday, we reported that mobiles such as the Realme two and Realme C1 are now receiving the ColorOS 5.2 stable upgrade and today, and now, the Oppo R15 and Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition telephones are also being upgraded to ColorOS 5.2.1 in China. The upgrade is supposed to bring a host of new features such as AI Assistant, Hyper Boost, a new video editing tool plus lots more. Oppo established the R15 show in China, back in March this year for a starting price of CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs. 30,800) however, the telephones never made it to India.
The information about the update comes via Chinese microblogging site Weibo, as reported from Gizmochina. According to the post, the update should be rolling out over-the-air but if you are the impatient sort, then you can manually download the update and then flash it. One of the list of the features, the new updates stated to bring an AI Assistant, which is summoned by holding the power button for 0.5s. The Assistant may also be used to scan documents, translate images, scan documents, etc..

System updates include Hyper Boost, which claims to enhance gaming performance; Smart Sidebar lets you access app shortcuts with a swipe gestures; Rapid Freeze suspends idle apps to decrease energy draw; a brand new video editing software for adding themes and effects; along with an SOS emergency feature which automatically sends a distress message with five sequential taps of the power button.

The Oppo R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition have some common features such as a 6.28-inch (1080×2280 pixels) full-HD+ OLED display with a 19:9 aspect ratio, dual rear camera setups, and a 20-megapixel camera front camera detector having an f/2.0 aperture lens.
